FIRST THING FIRST (and the more important one), like i said, i am thinking of gg to the states to do my veterinary degree.
One MAJOR reason is because i am not reali in favour of the vet science modules, up at the Murdoch Uni. Of course, they have excellent teaching stuffs and not to mention the teaching facilities as well... they hav a degree that is recognised EVERYWHER n highly sought after. But its just the modules tt deterring me from taking mudoch's degree.
3 yrs of animal production o.O the thing is, i wan to be a vet that TREATS animals and HELP them. nt jaga the MURDERING process of animals. fine, maybe not murder. SLAUGHTER then, if it sounds any btr. If i wan to do that, i probably would do a BUTCHERY degree instead. its would be soo much cheaper than do vet degree. n set up a stall at teckwhye wet market as a QUALIFIED BUTCHER.
bt anyway, sry i sidetracked. i mean, its important to have people working under the production of animal to ensure public health. there are pple who wants to do tt (no joke. i noe one alrdy) oh anw,
DISCLAIMER:
3 yrs of animal production does not only cover the slaughtering of animals, it also covers the health issues of farm and production animals (eg. sheeps, cows, goats, horses,pigs)
i dont noe, bt it seemed to me that there is a underlying reason for the treatment and caring of these production animals.. it all goes back to PUBLIC HEALTH CONCERNS. u wont want to eat a diseased cow, one who is mad do you?
Second reason, cost of living nt as high. well, prob just the housing when i am talking about lower living cost in the states. n its subjective to the diff part of US. but, one thing for sure, the housing prices here are ABSURB!!!!!
Third reason, i dont have to do tt extra yr of general science, which i think is a waste of time and MONEY MONEY MONEY!!! so i can finish my degree in just 5 yrs n not 6!!!! u noe how much i can save by doing that? you are looking at at least SGD 40,000..
LAST reason, the buildings! do u noe how nice english university schools' buildings are? if u dont... u have NO IDEA how aesthetic they look!! n of course, tt is rather a stupid reason to prefer english uni to aust uni so its just a minor reason.
on the downside,
going to the states to study means i cant go home as often. u dont expect me to pay approx $2300 for each flight just to stay in singapore for a short period of a month ryte? n its a freaking 18 hrs flight. THATS Y! and tts realiii a damn good reason for making me stay put in AUST.
unless i dayong sampan~~ to Singapore. cheap n "adventurous". HAHA. and by the time i sampan back to sg, my hols would have been up. and den i have to sayong sampan back again n be late for my sch term -.- KEKE.
i dont noe la. very confused now.. and Trish just reminded me that all the effort i have put in for this frigging WAUPF might just come up to NOTHING. because its WAUPF n the new vet system might not take us the PATHETIC WAUPF students into consideration.
WAHLAO. QI CEK! then i study so hard for what? FOR FUN ARH? very fun to memorise things until my head throb like mad n until my brain cells all die?? very fun to sacrifice my sleeping time to do notes??? very fun to mug until i wan to pull all my hairs out?? siao gee na!

in US: 7.8/10
bt if they dont recognise WAUPF students, 8/10 is gonna drop to 6/10.. but still, visiting my family n frds in sg regularly is still a major factor...... hmmmm...
ohwells.. we'll see.. "decisions decisions, y are life so full of decisions to be made. oh! the dilemmas we humans face" (LOL. RANDOM DRAMA.) anw, i would prob send my applications over asap.. no harm trying...

ANWAY, i recieved part of the stuffs tt trish brought over for myBELOVED family (THANK YOU TRISH!!!) u had no idea how frantic i was when everybody's telling me their luggage's full. deb, veera, jill, shapnem,lynnette. den jessica alrdy came back when i ask her -.- she was the onli one with extra luggage space. bt trish was kind enuf to take my stuffs though ther is a high risk of it being overluggaged. N MY GUITAR. ITS HEREEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TRISH I LOVE U!!!!!!! ahahahahahaha. and the files my sis sent mi are KAWAIIIIII.. ok, wrong word to use. disgusting. anw, they are cute!!! tt girl har, no wonder she was like, "eh jie, u like powerpuff girls de anot?" den i was like, "no, y? i like POKEMON" and she was like, "ooohh.. buittercup leh? i like her most " me, "ok lah..."

OK! hav throbbing headache now.. gt caught in the rain this morning while gg to sch, i am such a stubborn ass. got umbrella dont wan to use. its an umbrella wit lotsa flower prints.. T.T so embarrasing... ok lah, i did use. bt for a short while.. and in tt short while, i helped shelter another too umbrella-less pple.. so i pretty much din use the umbrella.
